Doha(QTR)The hot temperatures in Al Khor Airfield literary roasted the runway when it quickly rose from 22°C  to a close 30°C combined with strong winds that continued to delay us from witnessing some huge figures on the score-board at Qatar Mile Season finale.Teams gambled for the right balance in the rising temperature and strong opposing winds on a sandy runway,and when the calm politely settled in toward 1600hrs local time(not at its best yet) ,the red reaper was unleashed!Registering a blistering 240.25mph@1/2 mile to be the fastest speed at the Round 3 that saw crowning of Ali Kafoud as the 2016/2017 season champion!

Motec control all 2300hp in use on a 'un-prepped' runway.This run was 386km in 800 but crazy Ali Kafoud always pushes for that little extra 403km/h run .Also 30km/h cross winds or head winds don't stop Ali when he wants to break records – Mariyan Pvlovic tuner Piranha Nissan GT-R

Ali Kafoud picked up from the last round(Qatar Mile Round 2) hummer-drop when he laid a 380km/h screamer at half mile same day the Alpha Logic Performance Angry Panda reached a far fetched 399km/h. Piranha's certified beast GT-R reached a personal best of 386.59km/h (easy 240.215889@1/2 mile) to win the 6 cylinder modified class. Big day for the star sided team that took home 12 podiums at Qatar Mile Round 3 alone and registered 22 cars for the championship's season finale.

Piranha continued the hunt at Al Khor,and their GT-R running ExtremeTurbo Systems into an Willall racing engine a combo proving to be the road-map to keeping R35 at over 250mph where this car is likely to be heading next if you thought they are done yet!
